Project to develop imaging of heart cells

Chromacity are excited to announce the start of a new project in collaboration with renowned Professor of Cardiovascular Physiology, Prof. Godfrey Smith. The project, in collaboration with the QuantiC Hub, and the University of Glasgow, is for Chromacity to work with Prof. Godfrey Smith to evaluate the performance of his microscope imaging systems when incorporating the Spark 1040 laser. Working out of the Institute of Cardiovascular and Medical Sciences, Chromacity will investigate the feasibility of using its low cost Chromacity Spark 1040 laser system as a source for 2-photon microscopy. It will identify new design criteria to further optimize performance and quantify the size and nature of such improvements from a user perspective. This work aligns with the source technology development (and widening of applications) mission of the QuantiC Hub. ...
